One of my very favorite weddings was the wedding of Kristen and David. Both Kristen and David had children who were welcomed into their new blended family. Everything about this wedding said “family”. Part of the ceremony had the two children making vows to their new parents. There was hardly a dry eye anywhere!
Their wedding was at the gorgeous Log Cabin in Easthampton, Ma. The ceremony was outdoors and the reception in one of the many ballrooms. The vista was incredible.
Kristen is a crafts-woman – all of the favors and decorations were her own creations. During the ceremony, she read a letter that she had written to David expressing her love. David was so touched that he could barely refrain from crying at its poignancy. In the final dance, Kristen decided to leap into his arms a la “What a Feeling”. Both Karrie and I were on opposite sides of the dance floor and captured the leap! It is one of my favorite set of photos.
