Many years ago, I retrieved an old photograph of my husband as a young boy – from a puddle of water in my mother-in-law’s basement. The photo was precious – my husband such a cutie – but the photo was ruined: mold, mildew, crinkled up. I brought the photo to Sears to have them retouch it so that i could frame a copy in my home. From that point on, I decided I wanted to restore old memories for myself and others. I invested in a darkroom and practiced, practiced, and when I wasn’t satisfied, I’d practice again.
So my practicing is your gain – I have restored old musty albums, framed prints and pictures that have been handed down – many in very rough shape.
Do you have a memory that you want restored? Let me take a look at it.
