Warm weather … buds on the trees … time to break out the infrared camera! Here is my latest from today’s walk with Dr. Pepper.

This weekend I assisted Angela Napolitano at a wedding at Andover Country Club in Andover, Ma. In addition to the normal photos that I took, I had fun with my infrared camera as well! While I normally use “false colour” for infrared (you can see my other infrareds on this site), this one seemed better suited for black and white.
[nggallery id=13]It’s been awhile since I’ve uploaded any infrared scenery pictures. These were taken in Stow, Ma by Elizabeth Brook on the road to Carver Hill Farm. The day was quite sunny – perfect for dramatic skies and great contrast. I’ve always been a big fan of black and white photography – infrared is even more fun. You have to pre-visualize the scene. Not every photo makes a good IR shot. I like the way it forces me to think before I trip the shutter.
Enjoy! Note the deep B&W conversion of the last photograph.
