The landscapers, Chris Fletcher and Luke Jones are done with my garden. Chris expanded the garden and provided the mulching. Luke assembled my arbor and put in the paved walkway. I am looking forward to using this area for some of my portrait sessions in the summer and autumn.
An early July hail storm that felled 3 trees on my property also devastated this garden – so the plant come-back has been thrilling to see. While many plants were cut in two and did not make it, many of them did make a remarkable recovery.
I added all butterfly and hummingbird-friendly plants to the garden. The birds are plentiful and the butterflies and hummingbirds have just discovered my new oasis.
