This has to be the most fun and different wedding that I have ever photographed. My closest friend, Mary, told me that her son Dan would be getting married on Halloween. Dan and Mia then contacted me later with the details.
The wedding was held in a most romantic location – at Independence Harbour in Assonet, Ma. It was a brisk autumn day with lots of sun and a small wind. The ceremony was held outdoors. The bride and groom stood beneath a gazebo to exchange their vows.
Many – no most – of the guests came in costume. Mia donned a “Til Death Do Us Part” tiara and Dan changed into “Indiana Jones”. The Ultimate Warrior created a wonderful “Haunted House” complete with a miniature (think Beetlejuice now!) wedding couple. This became the perfect location for the “ring shot”. The Halloween theme was enjoyed by everyone! And it certainly made it the most memorable wedding that I have photographed to date!
