Those special occasions to remember

This birthday tribute represents 5 generations of family members on the occasion of Nonny’s 90th birthday. What better tribute to a grandmother but to be surrounded by her whole family! The whole family (including the little ones) wore the same colors and style of clothing in preparation for the picture. The photo session was followed by a breakfast dinner party with 5 birthday cakes!

Two Cat Folk – The Javaroom in Chelmsford, Ma

The Javaroom in Chelmsford, Ma. hosts some wonderful acts on Saturdays and Sundays. You can sip coffee and sample treats while sitting and enjoying musical talents. This weekend, they hosted Two Cat Folk, the singer-songwriter duo from Westford, Ma. Mellow folk music written by themselves – such great harmony! It made me sad when the evening ended as I wanted it to just go on. The duo sponsor an accoustic open-mike at the Parish Center for the Arts in Westford, Ma on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.

Tower Hill Botanical Gardens

This is the “slow season” for wedding photography and the best time of year for me to just go photograph things that interest me. Tower Hill Botanical Gardens in Boyleston, Mass has always been one of my favorite places to unwind. I have photographed several weddings here in the past several years. Wedding Link
The gardens look quite different in the Summer. All of the flowers and trees in the L’Orangerie (the greenhouse area named for the small oranges in the trees) are moved out and the weddings take place in the greenhouse. Because of the snow and ice, all of the trails were closed at this time.
