Digitizing Film - slide and negative - using your DSLR

 

Do you have old negatives or slides that you would like to digitize and are turned away by using a complicated (and SLOW!) scanner.  Tired with waiting 5 minutes for a scanner to scan one negative????  I was!!!

  2. Setting yourself up for success - Equipment needed as well as optional equipment to become more productive
  3. Importing the "negative" into Lightroom 
  4. Manually turning the negative to a positive using LR (or Camera Raw) controls :  white balance, curves,  color tools
  5. Using the Negative Lab Pro plugin in Lightroom Classic to eliminate the tedious work 
  6. Enhancing the positive with Effects and Masking
  7. Exporting the positive and why you should do so.
