Infrared Photography is where you can take your creativity to the limit.
In this 6-8 hour course, you will take short "fieldtrip" to take some photographs on an infrared camera. Then you will return to the "lab" where we will process the photos in software (Photoshop, Lightroom, ON1 and DXO are examples of what can be used) The field trip portion is weather-dependent but the "lab" portion is not, so the course may be either split up to accommodate a field trip on a separate day.
Topics will include:
- Types of filters / full spectrum or not
- The need for a profile
- How to create your own profile
- Sources of pre-existing profiles
- Black and White or Color ? Which to choose?
- Editing your own photos
- The importance of Masking for WOW images.
